Vanderburgh County Coroner: The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office and the Evansville Police Department are investigating the death of Larry Wayne Merriweather Jr. The Coroner’s Office was called to Deaconess Midtown ER upon the report of a deceased subject. The Evansville Police Department had responded to an Oregon St. address prior investigating gunshots and can provide information as to the ongoing investigation. An autopsy is scheduled for 16:00 today.
