Gibson County – Yesterday evening at approximately 6:30, Trooper Tanner Hurley was patrolling SR57 near CR 750 South when he stopped the driver of a black Honda Accord for driving 68 mph in the 55 mph zone. The driver was identified as Joshua Fellers, 26, of Evansville. Two children, ages 2 and 6, were also in the back seat. Fellers displayed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. Fellers was driving on a suspended driver’s license and had an active arrest warrant out of Warrick County for driving while suspended. Further investigation revealed Fellers was under the influence of marijuana and buprenorphine. Fellers was taken to the Gibson County Jail where he is currently being held on bond. The two children were released to the Indiana Department of Child Services.

Arrested and Charges:

  1. Driving While Intoxicated with Passengers less than 18 years of age, Class 6 Felony
  2. Driving While Suspended, Class A Misdemeanor
