“An autopsy examination has been completed on both Dahni Shanafelt , age 5 and her mother, Kimba Shanafelt, age 49. The victims from Bob Ct. Both cases will be pending the results of toxicology to determine the cause of death. This will take approximately 3 weeks. The investigation is ongoing and the Vanderburgh County Sheriffs Office can provide updates when they become available.
In coordination with Sheriff Dave Wedding at this time there are no suspects being sought outside the home.”
